Sandblast Nozzle Holders

Granite City Tool Company of Vermont has the widest selection of nozzle holders anywhere. Depending on the nozzle you choose will greatly determine which holder is required for your application. For intricate detail depth the Gold Band Holder is recommended. It consists of a nozzle cap GBCAPSTEEL-18PT, or GBCAPCARBIDE-18PT with connector 18OPT-GBOHOLDER, or 18OPT-GBNHOLDER-14IPT and pipe nipple. For lettering the Arc Holder which is made up of a ARC cap and pipe nipple is used. Shaping uses the 84C Holder which consists of three parts the 84C cap, 84CH connector, and the pipe nipple. Our general application nozzle holders come in two different types sleeve, or connector with hose nipple. The sleeve type is less restrictive and is typically used for high production purposes. The connector with hose nipple type is more restrictive and susceptible to wear by abrasive. There are three different types of sleeve type holders. The "first" sleeve type holders are virtually wear free, and the abrasive never touches the holder. This holder is the GCTOSLEEVE-34ID, or the GCTOSLEEVE-1ID and both are made of steel. These GCTOSLEEVE type sleeves through proper care such as proper assembly, hose and gasket inspection, literally could last a life time. The "second" sleeve type holders are the GCTNSLEEVE-34ID, and GCTNSLEEVE-1ID which are both constructed of steel as well. With these holders the sandblast hose is butted in the sleeve, and there is a portion of the sleeve which the abrasive passes through before the gasket and nozzle. These holders will have minimal wear through proper assembly, and hose and gasket inspection. The "third" sleeve type is 766-34ID, and 766-1ID are constructed of aluminum. These holders butt the sandblast hose in the sleeve, and there is a portion of the sleeve which the abrasive passes through before the gasket and nozzle. These holders will have minimal wear through proper assembly, and hose and gasket inspection, but are lighter then steel sleeves. When sleeve type nozzle holders are not used a connector with nipple is required. The BK 746, and BK 771 Holders require a BK739-12IPT, or BK750-34IPT connector with nipple.
