Granite City Tool Company of Vermont stocks pneumatic tool chisels. The Barre Bantam is designed for fine detail work. Barre Bantam tools have a 5/16" shank which may be used with other pneumatic tools using the 1/2" shank Adapter. For 1/2" shank chisels a Striking Cap may be used to prevent damaging the shank, but is not intended for carving chisels. Carving chisels are designed for detail and are available in straight or rondel. Chisels using a finish blade are designed for general carving or sculpting. Tooth chisels are used as a aggressive stock removal or roughing tool. Point chisels rough out stone and knock off high points. The standard Bush chisel is used to close the grain. 3-Blade Bush chisels are used for finishing and leave a axed or brushed finish. For a cross finish the Criss Cross leaves a unique cross-hatched finish. A Cup chisel closes the surface, and leaves a unique texture. Cape chisel is used for crisp lines, joining corners, detail work, and splitting. The Ripper removes stone faster on hard surfaces in hard to reach places. The Carver's Drill can drill holes up to 1/2" in depth, and can be used as a carving tool for detail work. Marble Tooth chisel is used for aggressive stock removal and roughing out soft materials. To close grain on soft stone the Marble Cutting chisel provides controlled stone removal. ...
